Elizabeth Eisenstein is an artist and web designer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Having recently graduated from New York University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she is currently developing content for her nascent non-profit organization The Center for Urban Horticulture in Crisis, for which she is programming a interactive online photographic database. She works primarily in photography, but is also devoted to learning a wide array of traditional craft practices, including but not limited to ceramics, metal smithing, wood turning, and weaving.

Additionally, she is passionate about the culture and politics of food, sustainable agriculture, and urban horticulture.
